How to setup Mac Mail for Codero managed mail users
Open Mac Mail
Create Account
Click File, then Add Account from the drop down menu
Add Account Information
Enter the User’s full name, email address and password that was set when the address was created in ServerPortal.com, then click
Incoming Mail Server
On the Incoming Mail Server window:
Account type: IMAP
Description: (This is optional, you can leave it blank)
Incoming mail server: mail.coderomail.com
User Name: Enter the full email address for the user
Password: Enter the user’s password that was setup when the account was created.
1. You must use the FULL EMAIL ADDRESS of the user for the User Name. the system will default to just the username and does not automatically add the domain name. The domain name must be added for the account to work.
2. For the Incoming Mail Server, use mail.coderomail.com if you are going to use SSL. Failure to use mail.coderomail.com may cause your system to reject the ssl certificate.
Outgoing Mail Server
On the Outgoing Mail Server screen:
Description: This is optional, you may leave it blank.
Outgoing Mail Server: Select mail.coderomail.com from the dropdown box.
[ ] Use only this server: Leave this unchecked.
[X] Use Authentication: Make sure this is checked.
User Name: Enter the full email address for the user
Password: Enter the user’s password that was setup when the account was created.

Account Summary
The Account Summary screen will show you the current settings for your new account. Click the
button to complete the setup.
Additional Support
If you are experiencing issues receiving, you may need to check the port values for IMAP.
Access Account Settings
Right click “Inbox” then select Edit “Domain” to open the Account Settings screen.
Account Information
Select the account by clicking the account name in the right hand column, then click the Account Information tab.
Description: Set the account name
Email Address: Set the full email address for the user
Full Name: Set the name of the email user. This is usually the users first and last names.
Incoming Mail Server: mail.coderomail.com
User Name: Enter the FULL email address for this account.
Password: Set the password of the email account.
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Select mail.coderomail.com. This sets the mail server this account will send through.
Advanced Settings
[X] Enable this account. This must be checked for the account to work[X] Include when automatically checking for new messages. This is optional but suggested. If this is not checked you will need to manually check for new messages.
Keep copies of messages for offline viewing: All messages and their attachments recommended
IMAP Path Prefix: Leave blank
Port: 993 & [X] SSL if you are using SSL
Port: 143 & [ ] SSL if you are not using SSL
Authentication: Password
